Bird artist Ray Harm’s limited-edition print featuring two cardinals is now for sale and will benefit U of L’s J. Graham Brown Cancer Center. He will sign the print during U of L graduation events on May 12-13. Call 852-7768 to pre-register to purchase the $125 print.The Children’s Free Art Classes, a Louisville Visual Art Association program, will have an exhibition from April 27-May 16 at the Water Tower, 3005 River Road. Work from middle- and high-school students will be on display. The opening reception is on Thursday, April 27, from 7:30-9 p.m.Sculptor Stephen Paulovich has been commissioned to do a life-size bronze sculpture of Willie Thrower, the first African-American quarterback in the National Football League. It will be placed in Pittsburgh, Thrower’s hometown.The Kentucky Watercolor Society now has a gallery and offices at the Mellwood Arts and Entertainment Center. They will have the grand opening from 6-9 p.m. on April 28 as part of FAT Friday.Ceramicist Fong Choo will hold a workshop June 2-7 at the Mary Anderson Center. Register by May 1.
